A clinician who builds companies,
and a founder who publishes.

Chonin Cheang is a Macau-based physician-researcher trained at Jinan University (MBBS), a PhD researcher in Biomedicine at the University of Macau, and a graduate of the University of Glasgow's Health Technology Assessment programme.

His work sits at the intersection of clinical medicine, health economics, digital health, and cross-border industrialisation. He leads the Medical Research Department at Macau Yinkui Hospital, serves as founding President of the Macau Society for Health Economics, and holds directorships across publishing, education, biotechnology, and youth-innovation platforms in Macau, the Greater Bay Area, and mainland China.

He has authored or co-authored over twenty peer-reviewed papers — including work in Theranostics, Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence, Frontiers in Oncology, and Frontiers in Public Health — authored or co-edited six books and chapters, holds multiple patents, and reviews for 24 international journals. He writes a regular column for Macau Cultural Tourism News on health policy and healthcare-industry development.
